A week of beautiful weather and OS updates.
Summery weather also means work in the garden, plus the opportunity to launder and line-dry large items such as dressing gowns, dog blankets and throws. All in all it was a busy week and difficult to get into a proper work flow, but I was grateful for the peace of my tent. I got these 4 drawings done:
- An interesting rooty branch of ivy which came down during hedge cutting on Monday.
- The fascination of sprouting chestnuts on Tuesday, plus spent iris blooms folding themselves away to make room for new blooms.
- On Friday I was attracted by a slender branching ivy stem exposed after hedge cutting.
So, in spite of technology it has been a wonderfully outdoorsy week, and the house is fragrant with clean linen and flowers.
Thanks for visiting, see you next week!
PS
The paintings I made are on The Weekly on my illustration website Binky McKee.
